Job Responsibilities

 

Parts

  • Fill shop technicians’ parts requests.
  • Determine any additional parts required from parts requests (i.e. order a thermostat & gasket when replacing radiator).
  • Maintain and clean work and inventory areas.
  • Order parts for jobs and inform office when they have arrived or are due.
  • Quote parts accurately, quickly, getting best price and delivery options.
  • Notify of any delays that affect customer service and production goals to shop manager and technicians.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
  • Arrange pick up & delivery of parts.
  • Examine returned parts for defects and exchange defective parts or return parts that are incorrect.
  • Supervise sublets to vendors with attention paid to both pricing and quality.
  • Fill external customer orders for parts.
  • Prepare sales invoices for external customer orders.
  • Order oil, track purchase/sold quantities.
  • Assist in inventory & stocking.
  • Manage parts returns, defective parts, and cores.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Tools

  • Manage inventory of specialty tools
    • o Check in/out
    • o Monitor tools for repair/replacement as needed
    • o Obtain pricing and availability when tools need to be replaced
  • Manage inventory of scanners & laptops with programming
    • o Check in/out
    • o Check once per month of which machines require updates
    • o Obtain pricing and availability when machines require updates

Schedule - Full time Position

  • Monday through Friday, 8am to 430pm (some variance in start time)
